Community First Bank Supports Idol Competition
COLUMBIA, Tenn. — Community First Bank & Trust is happy to announce their continued support of Mule Town Idol Two, benefitting Maury County Crime Stoppers.
“We have several employees who have been on the Maury County Crime Stoppers board for years,” says Lori Donaldson, Marketing Officer of Community First. “Last year they came to the bank asking for our support of their inaugural fundraiser drive, Mule Town Idol. We thought a singing competition was a great idea but we were amazed out the outpouring of support and participation from our community and surrounding communities.”
Mule Town Idol is a singing competition for amateurs. A panel of three judges will comment on participant performances while the audience votes for winners of each category. Participants can register for Mule Town Idol- Season Two at the Columbia Mall by March 1st. The registration fee is $15 and thanks to the support of Community First Bank & Trust, 100% of the registration fees will go to Maury County Crime Stoppers. The competition will begin March 4th at Columbia Mall.
“Community First’s donation of $1,000 enables us to give the overall winner a cash prize of $500 and each category winner $150 in cash,” said Rebecca Massey, Operations Manager of Columbia Mall and Crime Stoppers board member. “Last year we had 60 contestants, which was more than we imagined and we hope to surpass that number this year.”
