Community First Reports Record First Quarter Results
COLUMBIA, Tenn. — Community First Bank & Trust, with nine offices in Maury, Hickman and Williamson counties, has achieved record first quarter earnings. Through March 31, Community First reported net operating income of $2,046,000, which represents the best first quarter performance in the bank’s 13-year history. According to reports filed with the FDIC, the next best first quarters were 2006 and 2007, with net operating income of $794,000 and $712,000, respectively.
President/CEO Louis Holloway’s letter to shareholders in Community’s First’s 2011 Annual Report (published in April 2012), outlined several “signs of optimism” for the bank’s future. Among the signs he cited was, “Our energized team of managers and employees are ready to expand and deepen customer relationships.”
Business Development Officer
Holloway recently announced Dianne Scroggins new position with the bank as Vice President/Business Development Officer. Scroggins has been an officer with the bank since its inception in 1999, and has resided in Hickman County and been a banker in Maury County for 35 years. A graduate of Tennessee School of Banking, LSU Graduate School of Banking and Leadership Maury, Scroggins is active in various local organizations including Kiwanis and James K. Polk Association.
According to Holloway, “Dianne Scroggins is assuming a vital role in how we are going to serve our best customers going forward. Her years with our bank and presence in our communities will greatly enhance Community First’s opportunities to serve the financial needs of current and future business clients.”
