Columbia, TN - The King’s Daughters’ School and Community First Bank & Trust are asking for the help of the community in making Christmas wishes come true. Pick up a wish letter from Santa’s Mailbox at any local Community First branch. These letters are from needy King’s Daughters’ students who will be spending Christmas on campus.

“The King’s Daughters’ School serves nearly 40 ‘hard-to-place’ foster children for the State of Tennessee,” said KDS executive director Dr. David Craig. “For the 13th year, the Santa’s Mailbox Program at Community First Bank will be providing presents to help make this a joyous Christmas for these special children.

Students at KDS have written down their Christmas wishes in letters to Santa. The letters have been delivered to Community First Bank & Trust and can be picked up beginning Friday, Nov. 29, and must be returned no later than Wednesday, Dec. 18. Santa’s Mailbox should be easy to spot as you walk into any Community First lobby. Each letter contains one Christmas wish item for a needy student.

Once gifts are returned, they will be wrapped by King’s Daughters’ circle members and placed in Santa’s bag ready for delivery on Christmas Eve. School and bank staff thank you in advance for helping make Christmas special for each and every child at KDS.

“Santa’s Mailbox for The King’s Daughters’ School is a program we are proud to support, and we thank our customers who participate and make Christmas brighter for these special boys and girls,” said Louis Holloway, president and CEO of Community First Bank & Trust. “Every child deserves a Merry Christmas, and we are honored to help that happen for the young people at The King’s Daughters’ School.
