In addition, CheckFree provides guarantees that protect you against both unauthorized transactions and late payments. Suspect fraud? Just notify CheckFree properly within two business days of when you suspect an unauthorized transaction, and your liability will be no more than $50, just like for most major credit cards. Late payment? CheckFree will bear the responsibility for any late-payment-related charges (up to $50 per payment) should a payment arrive after its due date (as long as you scheduled the transaction in accordance with the service's terms and conditions).

- Where are my bill payments?
The status of each of your bill payments is indicated on your Payment List within Web Bill Pay. Each bill payment is either pending, processing, or processed. If processed, your Payment List will indicate the date and manner in which your payment was delivered to the biller. If you have questions about a bill payment, you may inquire by calling Customer Care at 1-800-877-8021, 7 days a week, 7 am until 11 pm eastern time.
- Will money be taken out of my account before my bill is paid?
No. Your account will be debited the same day your bill is paid, ensuring you earn the most interest on your money.
- When was my payment posted?
Your Payment List will indicate when your bill payment was delivered to the biller. However, the biller must actually post your payment to your account with the biller. Our Web Bill Pay Customer Care personnel will help you research any problems or delays with the payment's delivery. In addition, Customer Care can contact the biller on your behalf to ensure your payment was received and processed appropriately
